To that end, we're seeking a diligent and enthusiastic experienced Kitchen Hand to join our dedicated team. This role is paramount to ensuring our bakery operations run smoothly, allowing our bakers to focus on creating the delectable treats our community has come to love.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning Duties: Ensuring all kitchen areas, including counters, appliances, and floors, are kept clean and sanitised, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Dishwashing: Promptly washing, drying, and storing dishes, utensils, and baking equipment, ensuring they are readily available for the kitchen team.
  • Preparation Support: Assisting the kitchen team with basic food prep tasks when required, such as weighing ingredients, peeling, chopping, and more.
  • Waste Management: Efficiently disposing of waste, recycling where possible, and ensuring the kitchen environment is always clutter-free.
  • Team Support: Collaborating closely with the kitchen team, being proactive in assisting wherever necessary, and ensuring a harmonious working environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar kitchen hand role is essential.

Role Specifics:

  • Casual employment.
  • Work hours from 7am to approximately 3pm, Monday to Thursday.
